Tyler is a senior at R.E. Mountain Secondary School and is serving as the Executive Director of Vancouver Packages for Hope. During COVID, Tyler was researching the pandemic’s impacts on underprivileged populations—especially in our beautiful British Columbia—and developed a moral propensity to alleviate the economic struggles and food insecurities that were confronting our homeless communities. As a result, he started this initiative with his partner, Max Chen, who shared a similar vision - to provide hope to those who needed it the most through our care packages.
Max is a senior at Steveston London Secondary School and is proud to serve as the Director of Operations for Vancouver Packages for Hope. Max has always been passionate about giving back to his community and saw the pandemic’s impact on vulnerable, marginalized groups as a call to action. Collaborating with his co-founder, Tyler, Max has been a part of this organization since the beginning, managing the logistics necessary to distribute care packages to those in need, striving to bring hope to the homeless communities in Vancouver. He is dedicated to making a tangible difference and continues to remain committed towards this meaningful cause.
